It is a group video chat that each member will be able to share their piece with me (as well as the group). We will use it for my interactive feedback. Zoom is an app you will need to download if you wish to be a part of this portion. I will do a 2.5 hour demo each day, with a 15-30 minute wrap-up Zoom meeting afterward. This is a 2-day workshop where you provide your own supplies. We will draw with them…AND PAINT with them!!! So much fun. We will learn some basic concepts of shading, before we try our hand at creating the illusion of a realistic eye on canvas! I believe I have found some fun, and unique ways to work with charcoals that I would like to share with you. I like them for quicker, and more effective drawing techniques. I will demonstrate how I like to manipulate charcoals, and the benefits of working with them rather than graphite pencil. In this workshop we will be working with charcoals to get dramatic effects of light and shadow. ![]()
